I saw the glitch at the spiral in the pad and wondered about it; I thought it must have been fixed up digitally. And then I downloaded the 3kx5k version and saw the truth ... it's a paper patch!! Or, rather, three paper patches, apparently put in place before the work was photographed.
I got this print for my birthday and have just had it framed I'm so amazed I can't stop looking at it . It will take pride of place and should be a talking point for some time as friends and family admire it.
I was linked to this via Facebook and I know a lot of people would want to know, why is the bit of the sketch that's supposed to be on top of the binding covering the binding for the sketchbook? A lot of people, me included, would like to know how you did it
The best parts are the extension of the shadow off the sketchbook page on the right and the fact that you've either drawn on the rings or you've papered over them to create the back-depth and improve the illusion. I like your new stuff!!
Oh, and another of my favorite things is the cubist influence in the stairs and the perspectives. All of it is fabulous. <3
